Here is what you have in the letter template:

Code:
{letter_date}

{household_name}
{address}
{city}, {state} {zip}

Dear {salutation_name_formatted},

When generating letters from the household module, Ascribe replaced {salutation_name_formatted} with "Roger, Traci & Family" because in that household there is not only a head of household and a spouse, but also two children.

When you generated letters from the person module, using the same letter template, it puts in the "Household Name" of Roger's household in the address portion because you have specified {household_name}. But since you are in the person module, it will only replace {salutation_name_formatted} with Roger's name. That's why Traci's name is not included there.

other wise its the same thing as using household name.

Lindsay, are you requesting a change to the way it currently works? I'm not clear on what you are saying.
