Finance Permissions

Hey Truman,
We just did our first week of the finance module in Ascribe. My Administrative Assistant, who does our book keeping, is pleased with how everything works, and our export to Quickbooks worked perfectly. Thanks for making such a great tool.
I have one question about permissions. As the Senior Pastor, I have the "finance" permission, but not the "bookkeeper" permission. This is in keeping with out policy that only the bookkeeper and Finance Team Chair know the actual names and amounts of gifts given.
Here's where my question comes in. I clicked into the finance section today and could see the giving from this weekend, which was great. But I also was able to click through and see the actual gift amounts. No names--which is good. But, we have a fairly small church, and even knowing the gift amounts is uncomfortable for me, since I can pretty easily deduce who the potential big givers are. Is it possible to either adjust the "finance" permisison, or maybe add an additional "batch finance" permisison, that would allow me to see the total giving, the total fund amounts, the batch totals, the giving per event and things like that, but keep me from seeing the actual gift amounts given within those areas?
If so, cool. If not, I'll probably not use the finance permission, just to keep a good wall up in my heart from looking at that stuff. I don't ever want knowledge of gift amounts to influence the way I lead or minister to people.
Thanks!

Hi Marc,
I think I'd like to hear from some other pastors to see whether they would make use of a "batch finance" permission, before adding that as a possible future upgrade.
I have so many other upgrades in the works right now. I'd rather not touch this one for now. Perhaps your bookkeeper can print out weekly reports for you.

OK. We'll go that route for now. That's what we've done in the past.
Thanks for considering this in a future upgrade.
