Search DB by Birthdate w/o year

Need to know if we can search our list of members by Birth date, ie. Jan-Dec. without the year, or print a list of same.

This is an interesting request. This report is not currently possible. Let me see if I can work on a solution for you.

I've made some changes to Ascribe and now you can generate this report. Here's how to do it:

First go to the Advanced Search page in the Person module. In the "Date" section, the the following search parameter: Birthdate "is in (month" "jan OR feb OR mar OR apr OR may OR jun OR jul OR aug OR sep OR oct OR nov OR dec". Then perform the search.

This will give you a listing of all people in the database who have a birth date stored and list them from Jan - Dec regardless of year. You can print out this list by clicking on the "Export" link at the upper-right hand corner of the results. Then on the next page, select the "Printer Friendly HTML" export format.

However, this change will not go into effect until the next upgrade which will be in a month or so.

    Thank you so much Truman, I'm new to the system, I am a volunteer for Bridge City Community Church with Marc Schelske as our Pastor.  I will be filling in pt time for our sec. while she is on Maternity leave, so this has brought a lot of new stuff to my plate.   Our secretary will be very happy to learn this method when she returns.
