Hey Truman,

I started working on the web side of things today.  I set up a home page to experiement with the various elements in our "studio" ministry.  I set it up and think I've done everything to publish it correctly, but I cannot find a single place in the group area or the main web page section where I can find the URL for this page.  When I do a "publish" it says there are no group home pages to publish in the list.  What am I doing wrong?

Hey Marc,

I'm glad to hear that you're experimenting with using Ascribe for web publishing.

Go to the "studio" ministry enter a desired page name in the "link" field. There are instructions there.

Then when you publish the website, it will publish the "studio" ministry page there.

Hmmm.  I would never have figured that out.  I did it, but still get the "no groups pages to publish" comment when I publish the pages.  Nothing showing up yet.

In the link space is that meant to be a complete URL, or just a file name?

Good feedback, Marc. I should make this process more user-friendly.

What Ascribe did was look first to see if you have a published group directory. I see that you don't have one. Because Ascribe didn't find a published group directory, it thought that it doesn't need to publish any group pages. Did you not want small group or ministry directory?

For the link field, you could use a complete URL for a group website which is not managed by Ascribe or you could just use a file name like "studio.html" for the group's pages published by Ascribe.
