Hey Truman,

A couple of questions on printing address labels.  We're printing labels by going into "People," and then selecting the "Labels" Icon above the list, filling out the pertinent info, and then "generating."  Works slick.

Two things are coming up for us that we don't know how to deal with:

1.  People who are in the database that we do not have addresses for are printing, giving us a smattering of 1-line name only labels that get tossed.  Is there a way to filter these folks out?

2.  Even more mysterious, people who have been deleted from the database are showing up.  And they aren't even listed in the "deleted people" section.  Not sure what to do with this.

Thanks for your help.

Hey Marc,

You can do an advanced search for anyone that has an address (i.e., city is not empty). Then run the labels off of the search results. That will remove people without addresses.

Can you give me a name of a deleted person which is showing up in the mailing labels? I'll check on it.

Hi Marc,

Of the three names you emailed to me, the man is a regular person (not deleted). The two women are in the deleted person folder, but when I generated labels for every person in the database from the Person module the two women were not added to the 20 page label report.

Am I missing something? I could not duplicate the error.

Interesting.  I could not get them to come up from a general person search using the search box in the upper right on the portal, or using the "deleted person" search.
