Hey - quick question.  Is the member portal log-in working at all right now?  I was messing around with it, and can neither create a new log-in nor log in myself.

And I created a dummy person record and made a username and was able to login. What was the problem that you had?

Hmmm...

Let's see.  I'm using Firefox 3.0.1.  I tried to log in using my own credentials, but nothing.  The form just blanks and sits there.  I tried to create a dummy record, filled out the form and everything.  But on submit the form just cleared and there was no message of any kind indicating a problem.  Just a blank sign-up form.

I'm not sure why using you credentials doesn't work. If you don't mind, I could reset your password and try to log in as you. Afterwards, I'll email you the new password, which you can change later. Let me know if you want to do that.

And, yes, the sign up form doesn't actually create a user yet ... that's the part which is not finished yet.

Hi Marc,

I took a look. I installed some CSS in the simple skin and the clone that Matt made. This fixed one placement issues.

I was able to log in under your username, but no modules were visible. Perhaps you had some members area settings from the previous version of it. So I reset your account.

Seems to work okay now.

I'll let you know when I update Ascribe with the new member portal features which will include a working sign up page.

Hi Marc,

You should have received an email from Ascribe. I used the "Email Password" feature found in the "Account" section of your person profile. This reset your password to a random password and emailed it to you at your email account on record.

Did you not receive an email? I just did it again. Let me know if you haven't received it.

The member portal sign up page should be ready by next week ... I hope.

I have not yet received a reset email.  I also checked my spam filters on both of my email addresses.  Neither one showed anything.

Hi Truman,
I'm logged into the first version of the member portal, when I log out, it automatically logs me back in in 5 seconds instead of returning me to the log in page.
Also I ran a tests prayer request, but I can't delete it. When I hit delete it opens a blank page.
Looking forward to opening this up to the church soon.
