Hi

When I post a batch I get to the page where I have to confirm the breakdown in the cash received. This is great apart from the fact that it is in Dollars rather than Sterling or Euros. Is there are place where I can edit this?

Also I have regular gifts that are made via standing order I was wondering if there is any way of setting up regular gifts rather than having to reinput them each month?

Thanks

Justyn

There is no facility to set Ascribe to automatically add giving amounts on a periodic basis. So they would need to be manually added each month.

Let me check on the gift confirmation form to see what the problem is. I'll get back to you.

Thanks,
Truman

Hi Justyn,

You can change the cash denomination values by going to Admin > Languages on the main menu and editing the "money_batch" language file. Scroll down to the "cash_denominations" field. You can edit this field to whatever you like. The default value is:

Code:
100,hundreds;50,fifties;20,twenties;10,tens;5,fives;2,twos;1,ones;1,dollar coins;.25,quarters;.1,dimes;.05,nickels;.01,pennies

Each denomination is separated by a semi-colon. Between the semi-colons, separate the value from the text description with a comma as you see above.

Regards,
Truman

Fantastic! I've made the changes but have a slight problem with the layout now as I require an extra coin which has now disappeared under the 'cash total' figure. Can anything be done easily?

Thanks for letting me know about that. I've fixed the issue. The 1cent field is not hidden now.
