Hi Truman

I was updating one of our recurring events just now, and as a result seem to have cleared the attendance number that had been added for every event. Is there anyway of being able to retrieve this from a backup? I hadn't added any new events just amended something to the whole 'recurrence'.

Hope you can help

Justyn, can you give me the event ID number for the event you edited? I'll look into it.

Thanks,
Truman

Hi Truman

The event id is 22 and it is part of a long series of recurring events called Bread.it's pretty much the only event type in the calendar at the moment.

Justyn,

I apologize for this problem. I will investigate. In the meantime, I can have the database rolled back to the point before it happened. But then all changes made after that point would be lost. Are you willing to do that?

Sincerely,
Truman

Truman

Am happy for you to revertto the back up.will it just affect the calendar, or members, finance and or website. The is no problem if it does, I'm just asking out of interest!

Hi Justyn,

Good morning! I was able to get the database rolled back to 4/13/2009 grab the attendance counts for the events, roll the database back and then just update the events with the proper attendance counts.

So you should have all your data in the database, even what you entered in yesterday.

I investigated the problem. The script which edits an entire series of events at once is supposed to not overwrite the attendance count field. There was a bug in the script where that field was mispelled. It's corrected now. Sorry for the trouble.

Have a great weekend!
