I'm looking into adding the Google Translate widget onto my website so that we can offer an Irish version and not just English (appreciate that it won't be 100% accurate!). I can paste the script for the gadget successfully into a page and it shows when navigated to - see www.saoirsedublin.com/test.html . However when you select a language there is an error message and it says the following url is invalid - http://www.ascribedata.com:443/saoirsedublin/admin/site.menu.php?action=form&id=56&orderby=&dir=&limitby=&startfrom=0&

I don't know if anyone has used another translation gadget successfully or if there is a simple reason for the error message?

Hi Justyn,

You probably need to disable the WYSIWYG editor and just past the raw HTML into the plain textbox with the HTML code from Google. Then save the page and publish.

Let me know if it works.

Hi Truman

Added it to the sidebar on our main template and it seems to work fine. Am thinking of redoing our template at somepoint so I can tidy up some of the add ins. Think I'll need to teach myself a bit more html and css before then though  Wink Time to search google for decent 'tutorials'!
