I was wondering if anyone had ideas about how best to handle kids when both their biological and step-familes attend.  We have a couple of families that have joint custody of a particular kid (Dad & step-mom on one side, mom & step-dad on the other, equal custody, every other week.)  We can't associate one kid's record with both families.

How do you all handle this situation?

Interesting problem. Perhaps I could introduce the possibility of a person having a secondary household. Any other ideas?

That could be a solution.  I'd love to hear how any of your other client churches are dealing with this problem.  We've all got blended families, I imagine.
