"My Groups" on the portal page.

Hey Truman,

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question.  It's not really a people module thing, but about the portal page.

I'm wondering if you can tell me how the groups listed under "My Groups" are sorted?  In the people record itself they can be reordered by different criteria, but it seems like this list is not configurable on the portal page.  Some of our staff now have quite long lists of groups that they are a part of or that they oversee, and it's kind of cluttery.

It might be nice to be able to have a configuration option like with some of the other modules, where you could check-box from among your various groups to pick the ones you want to show up on your portal page.  (Oops, this became a feature request...  Maybe we ought to move it there.)

Hi Marc,

Thanks for this post. The portal page groups block wasn't sorting the groups in any order. I've quickly added an alphabetical sort.

I'll think about adding configuration options at a later date when I make a more global upgrade to the portal module. I'll probably do little in-page "popups" for configuration with AJAX config saving rather new page loads for the configuration.
